Custom WiFi antennas

It can be found as difficult in some cases, and in every case it’s back-breaking for the WiFi installator. Wireless Instruments designed the solution which can solve the problem. In the cooperation with the European Union institutions we have created the multifunctionas and unlimited antenna BOX system which would give possibilities of the system development during its utilization.

The big advantage of WiBOX antenna series is possibility of modifying the system and match the system for the customer demand. The customization can be made by installing different antenna boards (in the practice – simply antennas) inside the WiBox enclosure. In the regular offer there are the most popular antenna sets,eg. SISO or MIMO antenna systems. Wireless Instruments is able to create custom antenna systems the special requirements. The customization is done on the WiBOX’es of: Medium, Large, Extra Large.

The customization can help for some special applications like:

Posibilities are limited by the antenna dimensions and dimensions of WiBOX.

As an illustration of this matter we would like to mention few realized projects:

1. Dual band and dual polarity sector antenna (dual band MIMO), the custom system has been deployed in the WiBox Extra Large. The performances was 15 dBi at the frequency of 2,4 GHz and 17 dBi at 5 GHz frequency. The horizontal beamwidth was 90 degrees. The customer has ordered this WLAN system for the special application of the base station.
2. Three band antenna system, 2.4 GHz, 3.6 GHz and 5 GHz antenna in one BOX. It has been designed on the WiBox Large model.
3. 4-sector antenna system deployed in WiBOX Medium, there were installed four 5 GHz sectors (2 in V and 2 in H polarization) in one BOX.
4. MIMO 4x4 antenna, four panel antennas installed in one WiBOX Large antenna system.

The customization has a lot of big advantages:

• Can reduce the required installation place on a mast or another place where the access is difficult or the place is payable
• The funcionality of having every systems in one waterproof and nice-looking box
• All the systems in ergonomic and installator-friendly box, the WiBOXes can be extend to work with another systems in the neighbour area (there are 3 to 4 additional connector holes in the bottom)
• The possibility of modification the system without unmount the complete system (you can unmount the front shield where antennas are installed, and modify it to make it more convenient for changed applications)
