Mimosa A5C has four port since it’s MIMO4x4 solution, needs four port antenna. Wireless Instruments Ltd launched the antenna designed especially for A5C model -> http://wireless-instruments.com/en/products/antennas/wibox-sa-d4m49-90-16x-slim-nf and http://wireless-instruments.com/en/products/antennas/wibox-sa-d4m64-90-16x-slim-nf. The antennas have 90 deg in horizontal plane and 16 dBi which predisposes it for covers a great part of terrain.

Due to beamforming applied to A5C Access Point the antena takes the advantage +3dB gain. To make the connection better in noisy environments Wireless Instruments decided to design the antenna using X-polarity (slant one +/- 45deg) which gives you additional 3dB of the separation from the common MIMO2x2 HV networks.

In addition, that antenna has RBR (Reduced Back Radiation) system implemented. That solution minimizes the back and side radiation giving greater separation between antennas located back-to-back on the same mast and resisting the radio against receiving interfered signals from all directions instead of the main lobe. Due to this solution the F/B (Front-to-back) parameter is over 30dB.

Four N-ports are on the connector panel which is located on the bottom part of the Mimosa WiBOX antenna which gives you the additional protection against getting your N connectors wet, which gives your safety of non-problem operation during long time.

Special cutting-edge WiMount mouting system made of ABS plastic with fiberglass, guarantees the proper wall/pole mast installation and won’t get red which is very important in visible places. WiMount is fully resistant for any weather conditions.

To keep the parameters we recommend to use LMR/CNT-400 cable with N Male – N Male connectors, or LMR/CNT-240 as the substitute. It’s very important, bad cables, especially these which are not destined to 5-6 GHz, it’s crucial. We don’t recommend to use cable jumpers longer than 2m.
